Carol Schumacher, Principle Owner

Carol Schumacher

Carol is a seasoned performance improvement technologist and trainer. She has over 30 years experience in technical, supervisory, and management capacities. This includes 20 years in the private sector financial services industry and 10 years in state and county government. She has extensive experience in the following areas.

Her skills include education and background serving the Human Resource functions of hiring and employment, benefits, compensation, EEO & ADA, and employee relations and grievance investigations.

Carol holds a Bachelor's Degree in Training and Development from Arizona State University and a Master's Degree in Organizational Development from Ottawa University. She also completed the American Society for Training and Development/Arizona State University Human Performance Improvement Certificate Program and served as an instructor for the series.

She is currently an Associate Faculty Member for Arizona State University where she teaches organizational and interpersonal communication topics.

Danielle Tomerlin, Consultant

Danielle Tomerlin

Mrs. Tomerlin is a professional database and research coordinator. She has worked for Arizona State University (ASU) for the last ten years in the capacity of administration of facilities management, and most currently as a communications coordinator for the Urbanization and Global Environmental Change Project (UGEC) at the Global Institute of Sustainability (GIOS) at ASU.

Danielle is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the ASU School of Sustainability, and holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration, Bachelor's in Sociology, and an Associate's in Business Management.

Talents she brings to SOS are:

Currently Danielle is the Charter President of the South East Valley Optimist Club, an active member of the San Tan Area Chamber of Commerce, Committee Member for the Central Arizona College and Business Development Education Alliance, as well as serving on a number of other professional committees and task forces.

Ann Hutchinson, Consultant

Ann Hutchinson

Ann is an expert performance improvement consultant, instructional designer, and trainer. She has over 30 years progressive responsibilities for technical, supervisory, and management capacities. This includes about 20 years in the motorcycle/automotive industry plus 10 years in state and federal government. She also has extensive experience with community non-profits particularly land trusts. Her areas of expertise include:

Her skills include education and background in facilitating innovative performance improvement cycles from the front-end needs analysis, design, and delivery to the evaluation of the learning and business impacts.

Ann holds a Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Education from Florida International University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She is a member of the Technical Integrity Council and a judge for the Arizona State Quality Awards Program. She is also Executive Director of the North Country Conservancy (www.daisymountain.org) and consultant to the community association (www.nrdhca.org).

Larry Schumacher, Consultant

Larry is a retired engineering aide with 35 years experience at Motorola, Inc. He spends his time now working on SOS projects, golfing and doing home remodeling as well as home-schooling his grandson. His experiences at Motorola, in addition to his technical duties in research and development for product design and application, included the supervision of production staff and administrative project management. He served as Motorola's on-site electronics consultant for cell phone manufacturing in Shenzhen China. He is familiar with process management, cycle time reduction, just in time manufacturing and process reengineering. Larry holds numerous patents from his work at Motorola.
